A Deck of Cards is what we all need

Alright, so you're sitting at camp with your mates and you have no idea what to do, surviving in an apocalypse is brutal and dark but that doesn't mean you don't have any time left for recreation.

My suggestion, card games.

This will probably not be added in to the mod so it is more of a suggestion to the standalone game.

I just believe it is another way for groups of people to do something when they have everything they need to survive and just don't know what to do. Just like in real life, you need to take care of yourself mentally and not just physically.

Deck of cards should have a rare spawn so it is seen as a special item to obtain.

The games included could be all kinds of games

-Go fish

-Texas holdem

-Blackjack

There will probably not be a currency so the survivors will have to come up with one by themselves or just play for fun. What do you guys think? Does this fit in to the game in any way?

This would be pretty fun, also maybe a dice game. More simple, harder to implement but would be fun to have.

Exactly, it can add more emergent gameplay, Rocket said himself that he wants to give players tools so they can achieve specific things. A deck of cards can be a tool.

Haha yes, I just thought of that as well. Anyways, im just suggesting to add card games and maybe even add a poker set and/or dices so you can play different games.

Doubtful this will be added in. When I saw the title I thought you meant use a deck of cards to assign bandits to and such, but even that is a fairly eh idea.

I think this may well be a fun idea to add, especially a dice game is simple enough to add. Heck you could find both and start a casino on the Electro Strip :) ... It could also be a nice way to decide who gets to go into the zed infested town to get the loot this time, or decide on whom gets the last can of beans ...

This is a very unproductive element to the game. Sure, it might be cool if it was actually in the game, but it's a waste of time to try and implement because there will always be more important things to do first than adding a game within a game.

Definitely would be a cool idea, but as others have said, low priority. I can already imagine servers such as those run by Freeside Trading Co being set up as casino servers.
