Cz550 good to clear zombies?

I have a cz550 how far away from the zombies do I have to be to avoid them comming after me when I shoot?

Its not what I would consider a good gun for clearing zombies. The audible range for zombies is only 180m, but I guarantee you a player will hear your shots much further out than that, so you're not being particularly sneaky with it.

If you just want to kill zombies to make an entrance into a town, you'd do better by sneaking up behind them and popping them in the head with a makrov or m9.

Of course is good, but wasting of ammo my op. You need big zombies kill counter? For common action better is pistol/axe. Rifles - Lee Enfield is enough, but keep distance. CZ 550 is same good as M24 and both good if you want to be a bandit/murderer. For standard usage this is bad weapon, because hard to use on short/middle range. Know poroblem with all sniper weapons, excluding M14 Aim, good for all duties!

I play on no pvp servers and I only raid buildings that are way out so there maybe a total of 5 zombies would I be better off with a 1866 for this kinda stuff?

Use your secondary for zombies, but since the weapon nerf, you'll need headshots.

If you want a primary for zombies, you'll pretty much need a silenced M4 or Bizon; anything else will ring like a dinner bell to them.

To answer OP question, CZ-550 Is a good scoped sniper rifle available to newbs. Its semi-rare ammo might make you run short of ammo, especially when you're "Clearing" zombies at range.

Like all sniper rifles, the CZ-550 is best when used with other players. It is designed to fire at extra long ranges, and does a good job once you get used to the sight. However, it is less than useless in CQB. It has lots of damage mind you, so zombies won't require a second shot, and for players, 9 times out of 10 you won't need a second shot.

That being said, the best gun for clearing zombies/killing players is the gun that you are best with. IMO, The M249 is the best at clearing zombies. A quick burst will kill 3-4 zombies, and it's low recoil mixed with the high rate of fire is awesome. Prone, there is no recoil. The MK48/M240 are good as well, however, the 100 round mags aren't as space-efficient, and I find the M249 aggros less. The 7.62 is powerful, but the recoil when not prone has gotten my enemies a few extra hits.

By the way, there is no such thing as a "no PVP" server. And if you do play there, it will shortly be blacklisted :)

well the Winchester (model 1866) isbetter for zombies. but i would advice a pistol just for zombies (silenced M9 is best choice) but if you do play on PVE servers the sniper is for no use

Just give them headshots. But silenced guns are always the best and most effective way to kill zombies

i find the winchester is about the best combo of stopping power/quiet for dealing with zombels...

if your looking for a single shot solution..i also like the Enfield but its quite abit louder.
