random ban?

hey, my name is Renzo,

i just bought arma 2 for dayZ yesterday and i joined a random server about 10 minutes ago and found a makarov,

i went into another shed to search for supplies an then i got kicked and banned, random?

why..

now my server list contains a lot of X's instead of servers, and my choices of servers are limitied...

how does this come and how do i fix this

please help me !

Next time, keep track of the servers you visit. And locate who hosts it.

The lots of X's could mean a number of things, but mainly they might be beta servers. Consider installing the beta patch?

oh thanks that's great, i don't think i have the new beta patch installed, unless that goes automatic,

and no i didn't got globally banned, thank god, just bought it yesterday but already loving it :D

Renzo,

Pretty sure the beta patch is why your seeing that. Head over to the arma2 beta site and grab the latest patch.

I was wondering the same thing, and if you're launching the game from within the ARMA 2 menu, then yeah, down in the lower right, it will show you if there is a version mismatch.

Normally I wasn't seeing this as I generally use Six launcher.
