Background: of my own interest, I've had two people,ask me questions that were meant to cut to the heart of what I was doing.. As a career and in my life at the time. They were two questions, on different occasions that I found deeply provocative. Question 1: Are you a paramedic or a policeman?(is your intention to help and heal, or to punish and incarcerate?)Question 2: Are you a lumberjack or a fireman?(Are you putting out fires after they're started, or cutting down trees in industry?)As I said, in my personal, admittedly rather bizarre milieu, provocative. In the current context. Uhhh, that's how unthought of this analogy. Answers arconditional, but I aspire to be, to these answers, a paramedic and a lumberjack. I prefer to help but get work done rather than punishing/enforcing and dealing after the fact. And I love analogies, though they often pull me off topic... Case in point.
