CerebralZombie (DayZ) 151 Posted August 9, 2012 I thought I saw something like a weapon practice in single play Arma II or the expansion. It may just be the vehicles though.
FrostDMG 398 Posted August 9, 2012 Yes there is a firing range mission for Operation Arrowhead. Just google it, it's pretty good
DarkwaveDomina 1099 Posted August 9, 2012 This is what you are looking for, it runs in ArmA2:OA.http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=14616
puppetworx 474 Posted August 9, 2012 Do this first if you haven't played ARMA 2: OA (which I'am assuming you haven't).Then open the game go to the Armory, pick a DMR and click Try it.

haviv[3rdid] 57 Posted August 9, 2012 This is what you are looking for, it runs in ArmA2:OA.http://www.armaholic...ge.php?id=14616It's very good and even has moving target practice. It's on a flat runway though so there's no elevation practice.

bad_mojo (DayZ) 1204 Posted August 9, 2012 What I did was start up Arma OA and went into the single player editor and just added soldiers with the gun I wanted and set control to player. It might take some trial and error to get the right weapon, but then you can even add other units at whatever distance and then you have moving targets that shoot back.Don't be intimidated by the editor, it's not very complicated if you just want to do simple stuff. mark.merrill@hotmail.co.uk 43 Posted August 9, 2012 alright so i installed it in my mpmissions. now how do i access it in the game? You need to go to multiplayer on your arma 2 main menu then...New>Create game>OK>Map=Chernarus>Mission=The Shooting Rangehave fun, it's an awesome little mod for practising with all the weapons in DayZ
Chris <3 25 Posted August 9, 2012 Go to the armoury and do the mini games it sends you, much better real time practice. There is a reason the old arma2 players find this game too easy :P
hawken 22 Posted August 9, 2012 Watch tutorials about the editor, you can create custom missions with enemys so you can practise firefights
callmesarge 79 Posted August 9, 2012 Took me ages to access that shooting range mission. I ended up imstalling it to single player, worked fine then.Another thing to do is use mission editor to create a scenario. Have used this to practice sniping Stary before. Also to practice high speed low altitude Huey maneuvers.
