Wire Fence really necessary?

Recommended Posts

its a pain in the ass... doesn't stop zombies and sometimes can be jumped over and other times you cant or you break your legs.

if it actually prevented zombies from entering the barbed area then it will be useful to have but otherwise i don't see any use for it except preventing players from accessing certain places (which works half of the time)

don't know if there was a topic about this or not, tried searching...

what do you guys think?

It has no place in the game in my opinion.

It causes graphics issues, it is placed through walls which makes no sense and the only time people use it is to troll or farm buildings.

Get rid of it, it is just a pain in the ass.

Increase spawn of toolboxes, slightly decrease the spawn of barbed wire and it wont be as bad a problem.

There has been numerous topics on this OP, but you are right I feel as if it is just abused and is unnecessary.

I've never seen it used for an actual purpose besides blocking loot spawns so server hoppers can farm them. I would like to see bases made with barbed wire and other fortifications though.

Personally I think it should be restricted from being built near buildings as it is just abused.

Also I realize people will say use a tool box, but its quite difficult to use one when the barbed wire I'm trying to dismantle is protruding though a wall.
