Satchel charge barracks camping or ( a server hoppers nightmare)

So let me give you some background before I get into the meat of this story. On the server I play on we have been plagued by alt + f4 people and server hoppers (usually the same people) who raid our barracks, see loot, take loot, jump to another server and rinse repeat until they have all the gear they want. Recently an SVD camo dropped and we needed another but the guy who found it didn't have the room. I was in South Barracks and he was North so I made my way there while he stepped out to check the outside of the barracks. In the time it took him to do one sweep of the (sniper hills) a person had jumped in, got the rifle and jumped out. We, as a clan, got sick of it so we started thinking of ways to combat the issue and stick it to these assholes.

The first idea was for us to simply sit outside watching the windows and headshot people as they come in. This become a very large security risk as it took three people minimum to do this. One watching the window and two doing overwatch or two and one, depending on the people online. This was because at south barracks people tend to spawn OUTSIDE and then run into the barracks, loot, and run back out to hop to another server. We scrapped this idea because it was just too risky after a near miss from a hopper almost dropping one of our overwatch.

I am now sharing our current plan and it works extremely well. Our clan had a surplus of satchel charges sitting around that we never used due to us never finding a good use for them other then blowing up vehicles we wanted to respawn and blowing up camps, so we took one of them to the North barracks at night and set up. In order to completely destroy the barracks 100% of the time the satchel charge MUST be placed at the third door in, count them like this.

0. Shower room.

1. Loot room.

2. Loot room.

3. Loot room. (Satchel charge here)

4. Loot room.

The charge is placed in front of the door in the hallway of loot room 3. Move out and a good distance away from the building and detonate. (for added fun, wait till a server hopper hits the barracks THEN detonate, 2 birds one stone). Once this is complete you will be left with a completely ruined building and rubble all over the ground but the LOOT WILL CONTINUE TO SPAWN, EVEN WHEN MOVED (loot piled) ELSEWHERE. Well done, you have now created a death trap on anyone who comes into the barracks, let me explain.

When you detonate a building the server registers the explosion every time you log in and log out, doing so close by you can actually hear the explosion as you load in. When a played logs into the barracks they log in on a rubble pile and or an area now completely gone and the game reacts the same was as if you were crawling on a rock. The game bugs out and the player in question is knocked out, bleeding, broken legs and sometimes shock. You can get any of these issues and or all of them upon logging into the server as well as absolutely no cover from the barracks making you an easy target. Players who log in are now easy pickings for you and you get all the delicious loot they have gathered from ALL the other servers they have hopped from. :)

WARNING : WANDERING NEAR THE BARRACKS TO COLLECT YOUR LOOT CAN SOMETIMES GIVE YOU THE ABOVE EFFECTS DUE TO THE DESTROYED BUILDING BUG. COLLECT LOOT AT YOUR OWN RISK AND CARRY MORPHINE + BANDAGES AT ALL TIMES WHEN CHECKING THE LOOT.

I'll try to get fraps up and running tonight to get some footage of this and what it looks like after. We killed 7 hoppers last night with this, 3 confirmed, 4 alt F4, 3 of those corpses didn't go away but one did. We made out like... well... bandits last night with the amount of rangefinders / NVG's / and high end rifles and SD weapons. Nearly doubled our weapon stores.
