Having trouble finding livestock

I'm fine with food and water but I have some space left in my alice pack and my inventory so I want to get some meat off animals so if I lose blood but my friends are not online I can eat that but I must ask where about are the livestock always/mostly found at.

I'm no noob just I havn't yet registered the where-about of livestock and where I can guarantee that they will be there, I have the tools needed to gut and cook the animal and I am in the middle of the map so I should have no trouble locating the place where livestock are so please help

Generally look for large, open areas. Usually you can find some cows in there. Just noticed a couple of them south west of Lopatino.

Why did you said "I'm no noob"? Is it something to be ashamed of or what?

I've wondered if there are specific areas with more animals. Last night I set out on a hunting expedition and focused primarily on open areas with fence lines. I didn't see a single cow, but did bag some bunnies.

I usually find cows and sheep in the field by the lighthouse between cherno and elektro, ive seen it with 3 cows in the field at one time before.

I'd have thought it would be logical to have more animals around farms, but it doesn't look like it.

Yea been looking myself have infection and haven't found anti biotics yet (not for lack of trying mind you). So I try to eat alot of meat to stay abov the 6k it takes me down to...See all the time when I don't need them however..lol Now that I need the meat can't find em anywhere LOL
