So confused...HELP!

Im so so so confused on what is wrong, i can run dayz and other arma mods through launchers like six launcher and dayzcommander, but i cannot run them through steam, i have no idea what to do. I also tried to download lingor and it says dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted and then tells me all these ibr files that i need. Please help if you need more info let me know

are you running it as Combined ops, in steam? Not just OA?

TBH using an app like ARMARIZE is far far easier, and will keep your mods up to date.

You do not need any program. Just copy dayz files ("pbo"s) to "@dayz" directory in your ARMA 2 directory. Install latest beta patch.

then in steam click on "add non steam game" and add arma 2.

then right click on that shorctut and select properties

this should be put into

TARGET

"PATH TO\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" "-mod=PATH TO\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2;Expansion;ca;Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion;@dayz" "-name=PROFILE NAME" -nosplash -world=empty -maxMem=2047

START IN

PATH TO\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\

DONE!!
