Second hand server - No vehicles

Hi all,

My clan has recently purchased a server and we have discovered that we are not the first people to own the server. Within a few hours we had found many tent bases and buildings covered in barbed wire etc. The one thing we haven't found yet is vehicles. We have been checking the spawn locations almost hourly and restarting the server daily but there is nothing. We have also made sure that all versions are up to date etc in an effort to get the spawns starting.

We believe that as the server is pre-owned they are stored in some off map base we can't find.

So I guess my question is, do the vehicles de-spawn after a certain period of inactivity and re-spawn in the original locations?

I suppose you can send a ticket to the DayZ support thingymajig and ask them to reset the hivedata for that server...maybe.

I think it's really shitty of game server providers to give people second-hand mission IDs.
