Drblodski 53 Posted August 8, 2012 Seems a bit self entitled to expect updates on time with a project in dev.

It wouldn't change anything, so why should I care about it?

It wouldn't change anything, so why should I care about it?Someone said something had obviously happened, so my reply is that the standalone has happened (with all its obligations and attention) as well as the patch being extended to 1.7.3 instead of 1.7.2.5. However, I want the frigging glitches fixed before anything else, just as a hotfix if nothing else, because this turns unplayable all too often...

And no, I think they have fixed it already to a large extent... But if not, well then, get to it Rocket! :) Edited August 8, 2012 by Hulahuga

Try flying a helicopter when the screen looks like a nightclub.
Badjr 44 Posted August 8, 2012 Barbwire causes it too, and what if you would stop telling us how perfect your installation is? Try flying a helicopter when the screen looks like a nightclub. The one everybody has been complaining about is caused by the dead soldier corpses. As I said before deleting the models causing the problem fixes the problem. Thus complaining instead of fixing it yourself isn't the brightest thing to do.Well most people have had many servers and play sessions ruined by it so it actually quite game-breaking. And no, I think they have fixed it already to a large extent... But if not, well then, get to it Rocket! :)Rocket has already said in his post about the upcoming patch that he has only fixed barbed wire, which was causing a fraction of the cases. The soldier bodies is a work in progress. He's been working on it since the complaints started, so demanding him to work on it when he already has been is idioticI'm sure he'd be happy to have you help since you think it takes so little time to fix a bug like this.Surely you have the knowledge base to work on it, and aren't just some ignorant prick with another entitlement thread.Surely
hulahuga 29 Posted August 8, 2012 (edited) IF you delete the models on your hdd the game will be corrupt and probably crash...And yes, I have actually sent in an application but so far no answer... Edited August 8, 2012 by Hulahuga
Badjr 44 Posted August 8, 2012 IF you delete the models on your hdd the game will be corrupt and probably crash...And yes, I have actually sent in an application but so far no answer...That is false.People are already using model deletion as a way to walk and shoot through trees. The game has no built in way to check for your models, the only way to detect if the player doesn't have the necessary models is for the server to check manually. If a server does check manually for deleted files, it will be the plants/tree models; as deleting the bodies doesn't usually effect anyone but yourself. But no, you shouldn't have to delete the frigging models to actually be able to play the game properly...
