Wirblewind 4 Posted August 8, 2012 There are NO forum admins for the ban/cheat/server reporting forumsServer admins are just running rampant doing whatever the fuck they want to do and nobody is getting reprimanded.I've personally sifted through just about every post on all 3 of those forums and there are VERY few times anything ever happens.Most of the time a forum moderator just locks the thread.Do something before this shit gets way out of hand(not like it isin't already) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Legacy (DayZ) 1091 Posted August 8, 2012 Forum Administrators and Moderators have no influence over servers, as we are not DayZ Community Support.Most community support keep an eye on the tickets then the reports, so submit a ticket and make a thread to double up efforts. Zeromentor 169 Posted August 8, 2012 Try to force the hand of the admin in question and force them to sit down and talk to you. RECORD IT, incase things go wrong (they start insulting you) or if they admit to foul play (need I say, don't tell them you are recording).Once you have their attention, and possibly their vent/TS3/Mumble/Skype and can sit down and talk with them, try to find out why they did what they did. Sometimes, what you think happened is completely different from what they actually meant to do (Restarting the server to ban a hacker, for example. I recently found out you can't permaban GUIDs until the server is restarted).If they admit to wrongdoing, or harass you, use that as evidence. If they continue to refuse to talk to you, ramp up the pressure. STAY WITHIN LEGAL GUIDELINES, don't do anything that would result in jailtime. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

That and they are stubborn ass holes.Im just referring in general to the amount of server admins abusing their powers and not getting in trouble for it. And if so, was it for hacking? That's like the only reason they can ban people. Demand the logs until either they hand them over to prove your guilt or innocence, or annoy them until they do.Servers log what you do ingame, to a certain extent, and those can prove if you did something wrong, or if the admin banned you for no reason. Just remember to look over what admins can and can't do in the Server Reporting forum. If they did something they shouldn't have, report them if you have proof. Wirblewind 4 Posted August 8, 2012 Yeah we were friends and they lost a bunch of people to a sniper and blamed me.Later came back and back stabbed me took all my loot and banned me from the server calling me a hacker so i couldnt get back at them :/AFter we shot them down in the thread they said they wont respond to it anymore and they got off scott free :/ Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Zeromentor 169 Posted August 8, 2012 Ouch, server logs aren't really going to help you here. The best you can do is get them to unban you for not being a hacker. Anything else is legit, as anyone at any time can scam, lie or steal, and killing you and taking all your stuff is fine.Sadly, the only thing they did that broke the rules was ban you without proof that you hacked. A server can't really be blacklisted for that alone, as the admin can just unban you.Like you'd ever want to play on that server again.But if they do unban you, and you hold grudges, get to hunting.
