End of the map?

Recommended Posts

It's been soo many times i came out of a forest resulting in a black stripe of (where the vegetation is/and where it stops)

and then theres this whole clear land which i DO NOT want to enter cause i dont know if i will walk trought it and find more forest and houses or if its just The End??? i wanna know cause whenever i see this (line) im allways turning back resulting that im kinda going back to already scavenged towns which AGAIN results into that i think the map is not more then 4 towns big?

There is nothing past the black line but green hills with no grass, although apparantly you can save vehciles there and they will last 24 hours, you can see all the towns on a map, probably closer to 50 then 4

There's actually a lot of places to go scavenge, have you seen how big the map is? Don't go there, nothings there.

Wait, is that how it is?

I've been playing DayZ for a while, now, and yet, I have never reached the edge of the map. I got super close up in the North East, but I decided to head back south.

Does all vegetation end, and it is just blank black space?

I hear there's magical place beyond the borders. A place where you no longer have to worry about zombies, in fact I hear they've actually found a cure for the zombie plague. Simple civilization where there's warm food in your tummy, cold Mountain Dew spurting from fountains, and a soft bed to sleep in. And best of all, you don't have to worry about any bandits.
