TRIGGA (DayZ) 2 Posted August 8, 2012 DayZ need to introduce (player) killed by (player) messages to help us combat hackers, at least this way we can see who is killing who and if its a hack we can then make a positive ID and check the logs to get the hacker banned. It totally destroys immersion and takes away all of the tension (which is what i love with this game).You should have to actually go and confirm your kills, if you dare.No killmessages.No hitmarkers.No nametags.Don't introduce bad features to combat hackers. (No offence.)The "X was killed by X." message used to be a part of the game, but it has been removed.Now, the server admins can toggle "X was killed." messages on or off.
