Waylander The Origional 21 Posted August 7, 2012 Turns out I have several virus's on the computer used for DayZ. One was traced back to steam, and I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem. Is it possible that a script-kiddie/hacker/dick in general could have given me the virus's. Is it steam? I, have no idea.
Serova (DayZ) 174 Posted August 7, 2012 No, you simply cant transfer files to other people PC's using a videogame. You need access directly via programs.Download the trail versions of kaspersky and malwarebytes and run it in safe mode.

Waylander The Origional 21 Posted August 7, 2012 I have securaty software. Thing is, my grandfarther (He worked in IT dealing with this sort of thing up till a couple of years ago) traced a virus back to steam. Which means It either came in through a patch or through DayZ (Not played anything else through steam in a month). Thank you for the input.
