So I bought arma 2 on steam, installed it, and tested both arma 2 and arma 2 operation arrowhead. Both work.

I then went to the DayZ website and downloaded the 6 installer and 6 launcher. However, every time I join a server, I get this message: noentry '.profilepathdefault'

The game then loads anyway, making it seem like the game will work, but then I get stuck at this trippy grey screen that looks like somehting form Commodore 64. I'm stuck at that screen and I have to force quit the game. I've tried restarting my computer and joining a bunch of different servers, but the same thing always happens every time.

Can someone please help? I really want to play DayZ :(

I get a similar thing. When trying to launch a game from dayz commander, i get the error no entry '.profilepathdefault'. It launches Arama II then boots me to the title screen.
