The devs are fixing the issues that were mentioned here.

Most of this has been discussed already and/or they are working on it. Its alpha by the time the product is released it will be polished up.

Give me my $100. Also there's a way to completely fix the graphical architectures. Some say it doesn't work for them but it works perfectly fine for me.

God dang it. I KNOW ITS APLHA! I just want to hear some opinion on this. On what should be done and what not. Screaming the obvious won't improve anything!

They know about these issues, what do you think they're working on now? All I've been seeing from these developers recently are fixes, which is a great thing.

Are you kidding me? ARMA 2 WAS NOT BUILT IN WITH ZOMBIES IN IT! Rocket added the zombies in. Not only that but i played a mod where civilians with knives would attack you and they would come straight at you with perfect path finding. And rocket CLEARLY programmed the zombies because they don't act like any NPC I ever saw in arma. Yes some people actually play arma and not just dayz. PS rocket your awesome in case your reading this.

Is everyone just going to say "THEIR FIXING THE ISSUES!" to me? I want you to tell me HOW the best way to fix the issues would be. I am curious and maybe we can get some good ideals in here.

Stop...with...the...alpha bullshit...they even stated it won't be in alpha much longer maybe 1 or 2 months...unless they pull some big ass changes not more bullshit addition of items...then maybe but knowing this mod it won't do much...they have only added two major changes that being the LOS and taking away of bandit skin/morphing...that second one was a horrid decision.

You want others to whine with you? well while understandable it won't do much...just like everyone else saying "they are working on it"....its all pointless which sucks...

slyguy its temping to ignore but i feel the need to inform the uneducated. I started this forum hoping to get people sharing their ideals on what could be done and they would want in the dayz beta. Instead i get everyone says the game thing.

PS: Share your ideal for a fix that wont make dayz to easy. Maybe we will get a good one he might actually use in the gam

I'm not a game developer, i know nothing of graphic architecture or coding, or modding, or anything. I'm willing to bet $100 that you aren't either. Why do you want people to brainstorm ideas on fixes when the real developers are already hard at work on their own fixes?

Also, Real Virtuality 3 engine (the one that ArmA II uses) is garbage. Rocket needs to move away from that engine immediately. A more stable engine would mean more development time, but the end result would be a solid standalone game. I know Rocket wants to make his own standalone and move away from the mod aspect, it's just a matter of how much time, resources, etc he has to devote to moving away from Bohemia Interactive.

Either way; Read the two links in my signature.

It may feel cheap, but they're supposed to be hard and annoying.

I'm sure if Rocket didn't want the pathfinding to be the way it is, he would do what he could, to change it.
