Failed to update?

Hey guys, i ordered a managed server from AltitudeHosting.com a few days ago, and it just came up online, and i went straight to update it, forgot to shut the server down before i did that, and now the server is stuck at "status: Error" with 0/0 players.

What can i do to fix this?

And did this error occur simply because i installed a new update without shutting down the server first?

Yea i will, but i guess that will take ages since from what i understand they got loads to do atm.

I mean, if only we where allowed to upload .exe's to the FTP i could just manually patch the server, but that is not the case and trying to update via the control panel doesnt fix the problem, its like its stuck and now i gotta wait for my support ticket to get answered :/

Unless there is a way to manually patch without the use of .exe's ?
