Hell, I even lost all my items around 3 times yesterday due to all the hacking that happened. I got kicked after dieing on the beach (Along with the rest of the server).As for the skipping screens I have no idea, the launcher I use for DayZ however uses the "NoSplash" command - http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/-nosplash - Thats the only related thing I can think of.
