Motard 8 Posted August 7, 2012 you won't get banned for using a weapon hacked in by someone else....for the other 80% or so of players that don't use this forum, they pick up these weapons and have no idea they were hacked so of course they'll use them. You can only get banned for spawning in the item using scripts, which can be seen in the server logs.You both should keep the weapons. You'll be owning people for a very long time. It is a damn weapon. Using it is not like seeing through walls of teleporting to players. oyci3c 2 Posted August 7, 2012 (edited) Rocket is mentioning hive database not server-ban and even he is stating that it will be noticed that you are using duped/hacked weapon.There is a reason why those weapons are not in the game. I will warn and ask to leave my server and later on ban a person that won't listen to me because I don't want to have a tent city with thousands of AS50 TWS ruining others gameplay.So go away with your fail logic and make a complaint or start your own server and allow to bring scripted stuff that is not even spawning as other items. If you happen upon a hacked vehicle or weapons, you will not be banned. The server owner has the right under suspicion of you hacking to ban you from his or her server with proof... but you can just join another server.Have fun with the AS50 TWS, I found one on a body and it is an amazing scope... but just know you wont be perma banned for using it! We try to make our server as safe as possible from these attacks. We also have a section in our forums for players that have been banned to find out why, contest the ban, or find a nice middleground. If they like our server and really want to play there we can accomodate them. Want to keep your hacked weapons, play elsewhere.Hackers have a huge advantage in DayZ, BattlEye does nothing(AT ALL) and you want to report a server trying to stay clean(as possible), go fuck yourself Ridley, get thunderdomed, nuked, or have someone teleport behind you.
