Server and other questions

So sometime soon me and my friend plan to buy the full game and OA to play the Day Z mod, but we'd like to know if you can set up personal Day Z servers like you can with regular multiplayer. We have some other questions, too.

A single player/co-op feature may be added at a later date, but they are not currently available.

So how good are the servers for player experience then? As much as I don't want to sound like a wuss, I don't want to deal with Bandits.

Well... It's 225km2 for 50 people (A few servers have 75 slots). You won't see alot of people if you keep away from the bigger cities.

Of course you'll run into a few a long the way... But other players are half the experience anyway.

If I kill someone who is firing at my mate while he is eating his beanZ, does this make me a bandit ?

Those that fire on unsuspecting survivors with the sole intention of protecting their "zone" are they bandits ?

You will have to find out for yourself how to deal with different circumstances.

If you install ArmA2 beta, you can find some servers which are less full.

But believe me that the PvE aspects are not that great.
