Yes this is about the bad serial key bug.

I have had this for like 2 days now, constantly i've been trying to find a soloution on it, but i just cant, i've tried everything! i've tried stuff from other forum threads, i've tried stuff i've found everywhere else. I HAVE TRIED Everything. but now this game is unplayable, i cant get anywhere :/ its so frustrating and boring because i loved this game and now i cant play it... not even the normal game. So anyone know what i can do? any last resorts? please.

A few things you can try if you have done the basics try launching the game via DayZ commander, Six Launcher, or the beta patch found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead. So long as you have patched the game.

Bad serial? Or serial not found? Probably register file with key not found or it's "dirty". Either reinstall game, or manually update .reg file or use little software to update your key.

I have tried reinstalling the games.

I have tried to delete the @DayZ folder and Reinstalling it with some Beta expansion run thing.

I have Reinstalled the anti cheat program

I have ran steam in Administrator.

I have gone this way. ARMA 2, OA. BUT I CANT run CO.

I have read so many threads, and on every thread i find the same solution so i am stuck, really i've been searching for 10+ hours for 2 days just for a solution. havent found any that works. but what is strange i get this black screen with white text, goes a few lines down and then nothing happens, the Combined operation wont run.

I have also tried to run DayZ from the Six launcher.

And i do read mister. Every single thread i've been finding about this.

You don't buy Dayz, you buy ARMA2: CO. DayZ didn't make you do anything, if you can't play, then it's ARMA's and it's modding structure's fault and not DayZ's. Check their forum for a fix.

I suggest you to reinstall the game.

I did not purchase it from steam, i have dvds here, they are not patched.

This is what i need to do:

1. Install both games from the dvd.

2. Run Arma 2

3. Run combined operations

4. Download a patch (for me it was like 700-800 mb, maybe more, 1.62 or something) and install it.

4.1 to make sure everything is correct: run Arma 2 and combined operations again.

5. Download sixlauncher and install it

6. let sixlauncher install dayz and the latest beta stuff for you, this might take a long time. (when i started sixlauncher first it was "struck" for like 5 minutes, just let it go, its installing and downloading stuff)

This is how i made the game of a friend work after he had a bad installation too.

Edit: just to mention, you need to execute the installation as an admin.

And there is the imaginary DayZ that Rocket didn't create and that you have no intention of creating, that you think will be the best game ever invented.
