"Battleye: Global Ban 281e"

Good Evening to you all.

I now try since 3 hours to install the game, i crouched trough the webz actually since yesterday to get an overview.

I buyed a retail(anniversary) version 4 hours ago, installed everything and used as help this little

.

And now, after i thought everything workes so far, i first got a error message with "battleye initiation failed", looked through the forum and found this entry and did this.

Now i got the error message "battleye: global ban 281e" when i try to connect to a server and i even didn't played yet.

And No, i didn't use any kidn of scripts or something like this.

Could it really be such difficult to play this mod(which i really like from the idea)?

Ah, maybe some helpfull information:

*Are you running an Arma 2 OA beta patch? If so what version?:

*Which method are you using to launch the game? I.E Sixupdater/steam/batch file:

I hope this will help.

The dayz staff cannot unban people from battleeye. The only way is to buy a new copy. It is the same policy as steams VAC, once you get banned, its gone forever. If you honestly were banned before even playing, then take it up with whoever you bought it from and ask for your money back.

The dayz staff cannot unban people from battleeye. The only way is to buy a new copy. It is the same policy as steams VAC, once you get banned, its gone forever. If you honestly were banned before even playing, then take it up with whoever you bought it from and ask for your money back.

I thought maybe someone was running into the same problems as i.

The funny thing about this is i buyed this in a big german electronic store, fresh from the production you could say.

Thats what making me kind of angry.

As i said i downloaded BattlEye and updated it manually already two times.

Basicly what the nice people already said.

1: Wait a day, maybe it is a bug with the beta patch or something.

2: Write to battleeye, and see if a mistake was made (don't expect all too much, battleeye seem to be dealing with wayyy more than they are used to)

3: Go back to your retailer, and take it up with them....maybe crap happened and you got a CD-key that has already been used/busted.

All of this is assuming that you truly did not hack/script.

If you did, buy a new copy and don't hack next time.

Yeah, i readed allready about the...hm "not so good" support from battleye.

As i said it was "fresh" from the production, not a used version....everytime the same.

I swear i did not hack or script anything and even if i know how, i wouldn't try it because i really like the game concept and watched in the last two days several "let's play"s about it and i'm....in love you could say. :lol:
