MP5 is quieter, other than that, AKS beats it on every level.

More damage, better scope, much more common ammo.

AKM has slightly less common ammo, more damage and it also has zeroing.

However, it does not have any special scope and the accuracy isn't too great at long range unless you fire in singles.

For pvp or pve?

AK kobra for pvp and mp for pve. just my preference if those were my only two choices.
