Yeah I wouldn't call this a hack, its more of a mod but as to how kosher it is I dunno. I agree it still manipulation of game files so it would be nice to know where the DayZ developers stand on this.

The only time I think, if using these skins, where you'd get an advantage over another player would be if they laughed a bit too long after they've seen Ronald McDonald charging them with a hatchet.
