Hi guys,

So it's been a few days now since I started playing this game.

I love the idea of it.. I can deal with the glitches, I can deal with bandit chumps that just want to ruin your day.

I can't deal with the annoying hackers, especially when it's basically game breaking.

You get teleported and respawned into one area with 40 other people. Some start to panic and start shooting everyone.

Other times there's an invisible bandit waiting to shoot you... and another time, as per today, I was teleported to what someone was calling the 'thunderdome'.

Now after you've spent hours and hours sometimes just running through forests etc to get to a certain area, sometimes you spend that time going through towns slowly to dodge zeds etc, it's really irritating (as I'm sure everyone here knows), to have some cyber dickwad pull you from where you are only to have you meet your fate elsewhere.

Now once everyones dead, they have to start from scratch, gearing up, and getting to whichever location they can/want to etc.

I can be content for now with everything else, it IS an alpha, I get that..., but the severity of these hacks is something else. I've never come across something so irritating that just makes you want to turn it off and walk away...

im going to assume youre using the six launcher server finder

just start up six launcher, click verify / launch

then use the in game server browser

filter settings of:

name -> 95417

mission -> DayZ

max ping -> 100

hide passworded

hide full

battle eye required -> yes

find a decent pop server with a decent ping.

theres hundreds of servers and hackers dont give a shit about mediocre servers most the time

Buffjesus, pretty much have my settings as that already.

It's just a shame because although everyone hates a bandit etc. I'm sure everyone here is guilty of standing their ground and taking someone else out who may be a threat, whether to life, or loot.. it's hackers like this that destroy the game.

I would much rather die at the hand of a bandit than be teleported to a completely random spot and either killed, or left to duke it out with everyone else.

Yes, today I had my first teleport to some sort of arena surrounded by every other player. I logged the fck out of there asap, but if I died and lost my map I'll be furious. It also appeared to be one of the airfields, so if I spawn back in there and get shot by some dick in a ghillie suit with a DMR I'll be, yes, SUPER-FURIOUS.
