How do I tell if a weapon is hacked?

I was on a server earlier and killed 2 guys in a vechile, after killing them I checked their bodys and found some sort of m16 with a grenade launcher on it and picked it up ( never saw this gun before in game) is it safe to kill players with this gun?

Yes, you have an m16 w/ m203 attachment aka the noob tube. Not hacked and can be found in military spawns. The m203 and shoot High Explosive rounds, smokes, and flares.

Yes, you cannot be banned for using that gun from BE, but server owners and admins can and will ban you.
