They log into a server and teleport everyone logged in to the thunderdome whether you want to participate or not. It seems more and more people are moving to private servers because of this shit. There honestly isn't much need to have 1 character for hundreds of servers unless your goal is to serverhop around for loot. Find a server you enjoy and stick with it.
