First two murders. Three shots, two kills.

Recommended Posts

I've been playing this mod for about...two weeks now, maybe a little more. I recently started playing with my friend and brother, as they picked it up recently.

My friend Jungle and I were making our way east along the southern coast, from Kamenka to Cherno. We were only moderately geared, I got lucky and found a ghillie suit, but was stuck with a Lee Enfield/Revolver. Jungle was equipped with an AKM/M1911 and Camo Clothing.

As we leave east of the Balota dock we suddenly hear gunfire that sounds like it came from pretty much beside us. We drop to the ground, and everything is quiet except for the slow rolling waves on the shore. Jungle and I are discussing the situation over Steam Voice chat, and agree its best for us to run our asses back into the warehouse for cover.

We stand up, and no sooner do I stand up and start sprinting do I hear more and more loud cracks coming from just behind us. I see and hear the bullets ping off in front of and beside me. We duck into the warehouse, and I narrowly escape being caught in the open by quickly moving off to the side of the door and closing it.

I back away slowly, trying to muffle my footsteps and the attacker opens the door, then quickly shuts it. Then opens it again. I'm assuming he is trying to get a look at me with his 3rd Person camera, as he is standing with 90% of his body unexposed behind the door. However, I can see part of his arm and elbow poking out, and take my shot. Down he goes, unconscious. I come out, pop him again to hear his neck snap and get the kill.

A second man runs out into the doorway and just before he can get a shot off, I pop him with my Lee Enfield as well. He goes down. Jungle comes out, lays a quick burst from his AKM to confirm the kills. Looting ensues, hide the bodies. Jungle and I then decide to call it a night as we are both too rattled to continue playing.

To Duke and Michael, my first victims, thanks for the great story.

The first kills are always the hardest to stomach...but the shakes will go away after a while. Welcome to the club, bandit. :bandit:

To the OP: Are they really victims if you fired in self defense? And if they are victims and you plan to murder others who may not shoot first you may want to move over to the Bandit HQ.

Except... you're in the Survivor's HQ....

He's not a bandit, it was self defense.

Yeah, it was in self defense. I wasnt really looking for a fight. I wouldnt have shot them on sight, if I saw them first.

I believe them to be victims, while it was in self defense I did have every intention of killing them. Rather than wounding/maiming.

@NaturaI no, it was not too hard. We had also been playing for a solid 3 hours before, and I needed to be up for work in 5 hours at the time we logged out.

There was honestly, at least 5 shots. From the guy with an Enfield. Possibly heard Double barrel blasts as well, but not sure. No automatic gunfire.
