Bug out and show no items in them? I returned to my camp today and my two tents seem to have given birth to a third tent which is morphed inside one of the original tents.

All of my gear is gone, even some useless tin cans I put in there. I put them there so that if a came back and everything was gone but the cans, I would know it was looted.

I've had this happen before where everything, sometimes even the tent itself would disappear, but then be back later. Is this a known glitch, or did someone find my camp? Should I come back and check after a server restart?

Yep. Put gear in, then save tent like 10 times. Normally it will stick after that.. not always though.

maybe they looted the cans too so you would think it was a bug and put more stuff in the same area? ooooohhhhh

Tents which is "bugged" like pitching them inside a tree will despawn at server restart. They do weird stuff like eating your gear n such. Like you said, your 3rd tent maybe bugged your other tent.

I also don't have the option to "pack up old tent", so I'm hoping my stuff is still there and just not visible.
