Instant kill cheat - Leg breaking :(

Was playing on the DE4 server, far far to the north of black mountain then suddenly CRACK, i went from 12k to death. Nobody shot at me, I was in my gilli suit with a machine gun, dmr e.t.c.

Every one laughed on the TS thinking it was a bear trap!, suddenly within 5mins every person on the server broke legs and instant killed. Seriously not cool, but what can you do :(

This happened to me yesterday. I was playing with friends. Out of interest, did you keep going into shock before the hack? Me and my friends kept randomly going into shock for no reason and then the hack came.

Just had it happen to me as well in a position I couldn't be shot at, no gunshot, no impact sound just a leg-crack and f*cking dead with 12k blood left, lost my Ghillie, GPS, NVG, M9SD AND my AS50!!

I can't wait until The War Z comes out so I don't have to put up with this sh*t anymore! By then, dare I say it, this game might even be in *gulp* BETA?

Had that happen to me as well, but the broken legs happened first. I knew something was up when the two guys I was watching all of a sudden hit the ground prone, and then I fell over...

But, like the stuborn moron I am, I didn't disconnect, and soon found a guy behind me with a pistol that did over 22k damage in one round, listening to some moron scream, "IMA KILL ME A N*****" through his mic.

I just wish people would stop giving these idiots the scripts to do this. I know they are too dumb to figure it out themselves.

We are all getting new gear i logged out, half the server is now spawning in the thunderdome :P

And I did just that, luckily no-one found my body and i recovered everything except for the ghillie suite then I left the server a few minutes later, joined another server and before I even got to see my character I got a black screen and a message along the lines of "Goat in da house!" and I couldn't do anything to get rid of it so I go to another server and after its loaded all my stuff is GONE and I mean EVERYTHING!!

Sure there is hardly a game out there without hackers but for f*ck sake this is on a whole new level of taking the piss!

I don't see this as Spam. The "beta testing" is now over for this mod if the hacks continue to be as bad as they are, so we might as well all just discuss the new and interesting hacks we encounter each day. I have to re-spawn at the coast to them daily, so they are as much a part of the game as the 'Zeds.

There is more cheating going on in the DayZ mod than any other game I've played in the past 20 years. It's a huge problem that needs to be addressed -- in fact, I would argue that it should be the #1 priority in the mod right now over all other issues.

Definitely not hyperbole. Sure, other games are 'hacked' or 'exploited' or whatever term you want to use -- the difference in Arma 2 / DayZ is the amount of power given to those who exploit.
