I have tried to assemble one on A PC builder website, but all I know is that I want a quad core processor, Nvidia 550 Ti GPU, 750 PSU, 64 GB solid state, and 500 GB storage. fish911503 136 Posted August 5, 2012 (edited) If you google the processor you want then look at its specifications you will see which "socket type" it is. Then do search on Mother boards that support that socket type (Generally its between Intel or AMD types but there are generational differences as well). You also want to consider the boards max bus speeds, memory capacity, harddrive ports (IDE, SATA), PCI slots. Also things like How many USB ports it has and where they are located and integrated audio might be important to you....You might try googling something like "What Should I Look When Buying A Motherboard".
