Recommended Posts

Ok, I am looking at buying a new computer for playing Day Z/ArmA 3 when it comes out. playing BF3 would be nice too. I have 2 selections currently.

Also, I would build a PC, but I have no idea how to put one together. My budget is $500-$600

I'd get anything on this page http://www.amazon.co...&qid=1344200376

Thanks for helping.

By no idea how to put one together, I have no idea what parts to get. I have tried to assemble one on A PC builder website, but all I know is that I want a quad core processor, Nvidia 550 Ti GPU, 750 PSU, 64 GB solid state, and 500 GB storage. No clue what motherboard to get or CPU. Help?

To put together a PC. Step one: google "how to build a PC"

Step 2: follow that guide.

Or simply watch these videos. Don't buy a pre-built, They're shit in comparison.

If you google the processor you want then look at its specifications you will see which "socket type" it is. Then do search on Mother boards that support that socket type (Generally its between Intel or AMD types but there are generational differences as well). You also want to consider the boards max bus speeds, memory capacity, harddrive ports (IDE, SATA), PCI slots. Also things like How many USB ports it has and where they are located and integrated audio might be important to you....You might try googling something like "What Should I Look When Buying A Motherboard". Good luck
