sometime i spawn as a bird in DayZ. how can i fix this?

but its pretty funny when i listen this song and fly in this game as a bird :D

You become a bird in the regular ARMA 2 after you die. It happens in missions that don't have a specific option set in the mission file, that being an option to respawn at a fixed point/or in team and so on.

Try redownloading the dayz mod.

As far as I remember the bird-bug was an early form of anti-cheat protection (in original Arma) , which mainly applied to people, who didn't buy the game. However, it also seemed to occur for all kind of random reasons, so I'm not sure why it happens now.

You might try and start up vanilla Arma II and create a new character. It's supposed to help with the other "animal bugs", so I don't see why it wouldn't apply here.
