today me and a group i survive with were in stary sobor barracks and i found a as50 tws with 4 10 round clips, did new update start spawning them?? badass weapon too op

ugh its a hard decision cause it woul be so damn fun, but we also have several other as50's and a nice svd camo. I think i will dispose of it, just for the fact i KNOW someone will dedicate hours of their life too camping electro and cherno picking off every axe handling noob within 1600m.

The dev team do checks on players in DayZ quite a bit, if you so happen to be one of the people they check and they find a thermal AS50 on you, you will get a global ban. Do not drop it somewhere a player can find it, because shit could turn bad and everyone in DayZ could have thermal AS50's, so just dump it on a dead zombie and hide the body.

When you get a global ban, don't complain mate. You think that because you got jacked you're entitled to a hacked in weapon, when you're not. You instantly have the best gun in the game, and you have the upper hand on every single legit player in DayZ. You may as well be a hacker.

You can't get banned for having the weapon. Only for spawning it in. But all he is doing by keeping it is allowing someone to kill him and take it and possibly dupe it. Then we have a real problem on our hands because they will not ban people who have these weapons. Only those that spawn them in.

I really don't wanna see 10+ people on every server with as50 thermals.

Rocket has said on these forums that if you have a hacked weapon on you, and the dev team are doing a check on random players and they come across you with a hacked weapon, you will be banned, no questions asked. I'm not going to bother with this anymore though, because you only want to hear what you believe yourself, and you're wrong.

• im definately not here to test the limits of this awesome beta by abusing this weapon, but i highly doubt the dev team is looking through peoples inventory's esp when ur server reaches past 30 people u are assigned a hacker to teleport you and make u lose all ur shit. its so upsetting today, we had every1 and every vehicle on our main server teleported too 1 island. bye bye everything

To all of us talking about me, I think it's fine. I'm not going to die with it, I'm taking all measures to safely exclude it from sight. Focus on the hackers who can spawn infinity of anything and nuke the whole server first, then we'll talk about the other things. Maybe if the thing doesn't spawn ingame, there is something we can do to completely block it perhaps? Who knows, but right now, it's a free for all for everyone, just be careful.

It's fine to have. You cannot get banned. But by keeping it, whether you believe hacking is wrong or right, you are supporting what they do. You are using guns they ADDED TO THE GAME ILLEGITIMATELY. You are effectively cheating but nothing can be done about it because of how many people don't know it's hacked. It wouldn't be fair to ban everyone with one because not everyone scours the loot tables or the forums. But you KNOW it's hacked and you just do not care.

Whether you like it or not you are supporting hacking every time you use that weapon.
