Spawned on beach

So i was way up north near Stary when i loaded a game on server 834 chicago. once i got in game i saw my character was killed so i immediately quit out and now i am on the beach. Thank god i did not loose all my weapons. What the hell just happened? is there any way to respawn where i was originally or am i SOL? i know its not that big of a deal considering my guy didnt actually die, but seeing my name in the death message made me almost throw my laptop through the window considering i have high tier weapons, gps, nvg, etc. Is this the actions of a hacker? i was in the forest underneath a pine tree prone. there is no way someone could have seen me unless they were literally on top of my body.

nope happened to me as well expect it threw me near elektro. its what happens now when you are thrown into the debug forest

You're SOL. Usually when it's in the loading screen and somebody sees you, and kills you, you'll re spawn with all your gear. Happened to me 3 times,

Happened to me to. So basically I'm in Cherno [well I spawned on the beach near it] with an L85A2, Rangefinder, AS50 and NVGS. :D

People are lucky im not a bandit or else i could do some serious damage where i am. i could kill people before the even knew i was there.
