Can't play on the same server as my brother.

My brother and I have tried connecting to the same server and when hes in the game playing , I try to connect , I get kicked when I try to join. I really want to play with my brother and was the reason I bought Arma.. please help me out. I have tried using a program named Hotspot that changes my IP but it wont change anything..

try and check the server data... when in multiplayer there is data about the server at the bottom part of your screen.. might have wrong version or files

We are on the same version , I have looked on google all day and can't find a good fix.
