placing waypoints on map.

How come when i turn on my in game map I see other play waypoints? Is there a way to do this? when i double click and add a waypoint my friend can't see it =/

The black markers are notes, not as much a way point.

and for youre friend to see it after you placed it im pretty sure they have to log out and then back in.

You make waypoints by Shift + left mouse button and only you can see it
