Bandwidth

My ISP limits my internet to a certain amount of GBs per month. Since I started playing DayZ, I have had a huge increase the the amount of GBs I am uploading, and I am wondering if DayZ is the cause. Has anyone had similar experiences?

Yes DayZ uses significant upload data, due to it being a very client side heavy game, I don't think there is much you can do to reduce it

I'd recommend getting a new ISP there's plenty cheap ones with unlimited usage!

Unless I want sh*tty speeds, I have to stick with my ISP, unfortunately.

Other ISPs that offer unlimited charge more for the same speed.

I pay 66.50/month for 120 GB at 30 down, 3 up. The same speed costs 80 with an unlimited service provider, and so far 120GB has been enough.

Dayum, What country are you from?

Quebec, Canada. It's silly how much it costs, but since I watch all my tv shows online I don't pay for cable, so it works out okay.
