The ability to mark spots on your map

All right, so I got this idea just now where once you have found a map, you can mark down a specific location on your map. The way to do this could be by using the command /mark or something and it would mark down on your map wherever you are standing. This would be a nice way to be able to find where you may have hidden a tent or vehicle or whatever else :) Sounds more reasonable then having buildings with locked doors like others have suggested XD

You can just print the map out and get a pencil. I myself paint on the map jpg on my touch device of choice.

Everyone who has a map, can see markings made by others.

Marking tents and other info makes a pretty good bandit magnet.

try double clicking on the map??? u can even change markers with your keyboard arrows, you can change colors to.

If you switch to the vehicle chanel when putting markers on map others wont be able to see it.

Yeah not many here see to hve played ARMA before.

When I find maps I put false information on the then drop it.

To keep other people from seeing the markers you make, press [ > ] until it says "Group Channel" in the bottom left corner. This will make the markers visible only to your group, and since there is nobody else in your group, the markers will only be visible to you.

when you make your mark on the map be sure your in the direct channel. It only shares your marks with people in whatever channel you are in.
