Every one I kill thinks I'm a hacker...

Recommended Posts

You know, everyone has been complaining about how many hackers are in DayZ and how many hackers are ruining the game. I think we have honestly taken it too far with the hackers and complaints, every server I join (basically, except for NZ servers) are fine, I rarely stumble across a problem. But people are starting to forget what DayZ really is and I don't think many people have seen the trailer for DayZ, which shows the word 'betrayal'. What is really pissing me off is that because I have a DMR and a sniper, when I kill someone, they immediately ask to kick me from game, screaming on direct chat "HACKER OMG AGAIN!" People need to remember that there are BANDITS in dayz and not every one with good gear is a hacker.

I used to get that in every FPS shooter I'd play...

Not bragging or anything, but having loud sound with surround sound headphones always seemed to help. Also playing shooters ever since I started to actually have, "memories".

I have killed very few people but trust me I have died plenty! Most kids are like 10 or 11 who have no life and after spending a few hours of f*cking around get a few good things and then walk through the middle of a town just to get killed. It is so terrible about how many people compalin about hackers on the forums! I bet some of the complaints are real but most are dumbass people making terrible choices

Welcome to online gaming. Everyone who makes a mistake is a fucking noob and everyone who gets a kill is a cheater.

Basically this.Gamers are generally arseholes with a high opinion of themselves.

If you're using a DMR I wouldn't suspect you of hacking.

What if I'm using an AS50 Sniper Rifle? I looted one off a helicopter crash site. Would you suspect me as a hacker?

So you're sniping people with a DMR yet you can see their direct chat? I call bullshit.

Of course. Everyone who kills me must be a hacker because I'm the best human being that has ever existed on earth and I can't fail at anything.

Range of direct coms is 80 meters. You should not hear or read anything someone is transmitting past this range.

I don't think rocket changed this in Arma in anyway, pretty sure it's an engine thing.

How do you hear them accusing you? You must be really close.

Yeah you can still talk to people on VC after you've died.
