Ghillie suit

Is it safe to put on a ghillie suit in 1.7.2.4? does anyone have any experience or tips what to do when putting it on?

Drop your backpack, put on ghillie, pick backpack back up

I didn't have to do the drop pack thing, but because of a previous experience of not having any of my play saved the time before, I put mine on, logged out and back in to try and force a save... not sure if it worked, but I still have the Ghillie today and no problems with save

So you dont have to drop EVERYTHING? but its advised though? can you teleport or anythng? just that ive got the BEST gear in the whole game atm and i dont wanna lose it

You should actually drop the weapon inside your pack then drop the pack if you have a weapon in there. You don't have to drop anything in your inventory.

Well yeah im probably gonna drop everything but im just scared that i teleport to fuck knows where

There are 2 bugs I know of.

1) You may end up in the ocean. (relog I think fixes this)

2) You backpack can be replaced by the default one so store it or drop it first.

it's safe, it resets your kills count but when you log back in, is fixed

I found one for the first time last night, didn't know about having to drop the pack or weapon so i just equiped it on the spot, nothing bad happened.

YMMV i guess.

Only thing you ever need to do as a precaution is drop your backpack, no need to remove any items from it, i've had 3 Ghillies and 5 Camo's since the patch and before (Player camps) and dropping the backpack was all i needed to do (Half the time i didn't bother and nothing bad happened anyway).

Perfectly safe, just drop the backpack as a safety precaution.

i have put on 2 since the patch and never had problems... I did not drop my backpack.

I can't get into a certain server (get past the final loading screen) since I put on a ghilile.

Works fine for me, didn't drop any of my gear or my backpack before equipping, nothing duped or disappeared.
