DayZ no longer in my Steam library...

I died after crashing a jeep just outside Starry Sobor earlier today, disconnected the usual way (going through each screen), and shut the PC down. Just started it up again and DayZ isn't listed in my Steam library, or under the Steam tab in the Start Menu. Any suggestions?

Crashing has nothing to do with it.

You mean the Operation Arrowhead shortcut, right?

Make sure you're not looking at a category that it's not in like favorites or something.

It is, I added it last week and the improvements were immediate. I have been using Steam to launch it instead of SixLauncher.

No I had created my own DayZ shortcut in my Steam library, it was a bit of a headache to set up, but the game seemed to run MUCH better this way.

Did you have to do a system restore or something after it crashed?

Maybe it restored to a point before you added the new shortcut.

Sorry just to clarify, the game didn't crash, I crashed a jeep into a roadblock, the jeep exploded and I died, I quit the server once the 'You are dead' screen came up, quit the game normally, shut the PC down normally. Turned the PC on an hour later and it had disappeared.

Perhaps not, just giving the circumstances of when it last worked.

I had to follow about 4 tutorials to get it working through steam, i'm not the most PC literate. :(
