DMR bi-pod useable?

Just found a DMR in the barracks (and there was much rejoicing).

Does anyone know if the bi-pod is usable/functional? If so, how do you deploy it?

No, I don't believe it works in my time of using the DMR, but if you lay down, it gives you less recoil and less waive of the scope I think. When I shoot sniper rifles, at the most I shoot from a crouch position if I can

its just part of the model, the m24 and saw's bipods are always deployed on the model but make no differance to accuracy

m24 down, DMR up it helps you distinguish the weapon

ah - ok - i'm not a bespoke sniper, but was wondering if it was deployable.

I run my M4A1 SD 95% of the time but having a good sniper rifle to counter snipe is fun ;-)

i run both, usually m4 SD and either dmr of as50 depending on if its night/day its a good combo, you can swat z's without drawing to much attention, still have enough fire power to handle anyone who pops up close and you can still reach out and touch someone Edited August 3, 2012 by stuffnthings
