The_Weasel 16 Posted August 3, 2012 Hey Zombie huntersI started admining a server recently and have been keeping a close eye on logs.Every now and then I spot something odd, player using a gun thats not in DayZ, that kind of thing.I am trying to put together a list of "legal" item ID's so we can get a better idea of what should or should not be in the logs.I was wondering if anyone had a list of weapon names etc? As they don't match the game names, the PDW for example is UZI_EP1. If the devs could post a list someone, that would be a great help.Specifically why I am posting, I noticed two players last night who had soldier skins.Normally the player skins are these:Survivor1_DZSurvivor2_DZSniper1_DZand the camo one, I forgetHowever I saw two players in my logs with this skin:Skin_Soldier1_DZNow that does not seem legit to me, so I banned them. Could anyone let me know if this is a legit skin?Devs/Rocket could you supply a list of OK item names from the game please?If possible could you also supply some of the log messages that should appear in the battleeye log please?dedicatedserver.sqf seems legit, player morph command seems legit. Element47 2480 Posted August 3, 2012 re skins: players have been tweaking configs to use ArmA-included faces you otherwise dont get to choose using the profile editor (tutorials are here on the forums), probably the same with the soldier skins you noticed.also, the notorious exploits suppress logging, so can only be detected by their api hooks or injections. ofc there will be instances of malicious activity logged thus allowing you to act, but i think it will be a drop in the ocean. good luck though, every bit helps.just ensure you dont ban legit players, for instance because they used a camo face :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Circa 1-2 week/s ago I made a topic about the [epic] clan with a chat log print screen in the general server section because there was no official UK207 topic. I put a warning up for the epic guys, I guess you saw it. I'll be happy to help you with people which don't play fair. Talking about us, we are not bandits (we don't kill unarmed or low armed people) but we are humans and humans make "mistakes". Anyway, we have never been on the top of Cherno sniping survivors for nothing, we kill those kind of bandits. Most appreciated.Great to hear we have some anti bandit players on the server Damarus95. Since player names are off, gonna be difficult not to kill each other but if you guys are in a jam (broken legs, no morphine etc) PM me here and we shall come rescue you.We are setting up some base camps down south with a basic player loadout to help out new spawned players (i.e. us when we get killed) happy to share them with you.
