Inception.

To persevere or not to persevere?

Recommended Posts

Obviously "hackers" have taken over the majority of DayZ servers, unfortunately. Is everyone going to leave?

Rocket had an idea. He worked on this idea and created DayZ. People liked this idea. The idea bloomed because enough people stayed true to it.

You must persevere, no matter what. If you want this idea to become reality, you must stay with Rocket through the bombardment of redundant hackers.

Remember: this is not Rocket's fault.

He created this idea and you gave it life, reader. You gave it life.

Do not completely abandon this mod.

On that note, how many of you haven't been affected by high-profile hacking?

haven't encounterred hacks so far, but im only playing for two weeks :)

i wouldnt mind it too much though.. its like checking off "being thunderdomed" from my "what to experience during dayz alpha" list..

so far my experience is mostly positive.. killed more often by Z due to careless actions than by other players.. met more friendlies than bandits so far..

As if you would leave.

This is the best game I've played in 10 years. (OoT holds a special place in my heart)

This game is still THE diamond in the rough.

It's just covered in filthy hacker feaces ( how do you spell that? Shitty iPhone auto correct)

Stop treating it like some cult mantra and start treating it objectively, as a gamer, for the mod it is - not the "game" you want it to be. If it's been breeched by hackers and it makes it unplayable for a lot of people and they leave then so be it. Fix it or let it die. That's how it works.
