Ok

So i logged onto steam today hoping to play some DayZ and bam. Both Arma 2 and OA have to update so im like fine.

I look at Arma 2 update 33mb ok no biggy then i look at the OA update and its like 4.5gb i mean wtf its basically redownloading the entire game.

I have a very slow internet connection roughly my download speed is around 80kb which means its going to take like 9 hours to download.

Whats going on why such a big update?

You don't need to start up Steam to play dayz also there is no update for OA.

Yes but if i try to open it with anything else i get 'no entry profilepathdefault' and then data file too short error message.

Sucks dawg I can't think of any other solution to this problem other than re-installing.

When the update came out last week my download was 8Gb which I believe is the entire game lol

Guess i will just have to download OA again then. Which is odd considering all the OA files are still in the steam folder.
