Vehicles spin in circles?

Earlier I found an enemy tube truck that seems to have a hit a tree, I replaced the two missing wheels and had a friend bump me away from the tree. Now the truck just spins in circles, as if on an axis, like it doesn't haven't a wheel where it does. Same goes for a bus I found a few minutes later: I hit a pop-up roadblock, which made my wheel bar turn orange. I backed up far enough to go around it and now it's spinning in circles on an axis. The bus seems to have all of its wheels. What seems to be going on?
