LeastDionysus 11 Posted April 17, 2013 My friend and I were in Cherno trying to get a gun so we could GTFO out of that place, We ran into a bandit and he goes, ok I got this. He walked behind the bandit with a hatchet and swung an him and goes, ok hes on the ground I think he's dead. I walk up and try to loot and say to him that I couldn't loot. We realize that he was unconscious so im telling him to quickly kill it before he wakes up. He woke up, broke my friends legs, but we still got him XD. We stopped as we both got eye contact, and at this point new it was ON. Charged for him, both got a hit on each other. Swung again, his legs broke...i ended up dying and respawning back on the coast. RajunRick 1 Posted April 17, 2013 Playing on a server with AI's as well as other players. Making my way to Stary when I hear gunfire and bullets bouncing off of my ride. Get a safe distance away and jump out with vehicle between me and the bandit AI's. Lined up my Sa58 ACOG on the first and shot, see the blood mark but not dead. Shoot him 5 more times, blood marks but not dead. Jump back in my ride and run him and a ghillie bandit over. Get out to check their gear and hear more shots fired. Put the vehicle in between me and the shooter, lined up on the shooter and realized there was no headwrap on this one. I hesitated on my shot trying to determine was this a bandit or survivor AI.......... BAM! Took me out with a headshot. terminal_boy 860 Posted April 17, 2013 Having stalked a bandit for about an hour as he moved towards NWAF, I dropped from crouched run to prone to take a 100% dead certain killshot with my trusty Lee Enfield. My intended victim was stationary, out of cover, facing away from me and only 200 metres away.Of course, my dolphin dive attempt displeased the ArmA Gods and they cast a Level 40 Clip Foliage spell which caused the usual legs broken/8 pint per second bleed-out Instant Death. bloodtrozorx 145 Posted April 17, 2013 I was moving east along the treeline just north of Cherno when I heard faint AK fire from the north, being a hero I went to investigate. A death message pops up as I emerge into the small clearing and I see one survivor running over to and dragging another survivor towards the trees across the clearing. I steady my AKM and fire, dropping the "killer". The quotation marks are required since before my arrival the downed player had been attacked by a bandit, whom the other survivor had killed. slim_dusty 2 Posted April 19, 2013 (edited) just found a mini bird in dayZ was like, ok I will quit and learn to fly first after a quick 5 min training on a civ chopper (no idea how to make mission so i could work on the mini bird) was like yeah I got this I can take off land and move. Go back in to day z thinking i'm top gun or something get in mini bird take off with auto hover (all good so far) turn auto hover off still good push the joy stick forward to nose down flip the mini bird spiral down to my flaming death..... turns out the civ chopper is a brick and easy to fly compared to the mini bird. Slartybartfast 76 Posted April 19, 2013 Yesterday I was playing after a few days off the server, and found out my camp was not looted at all (tried 4 other locations before but all were looted within a day or 2). Apart from a g36 cco, m16 acog and some basic stuff (food, medicine) it wasn't a very spectacular camp.Only 2 other people were on the server so I decided it was safe enough to temporarily stash my m4a1 SD camo and DMR to loot some more. Didn't really find anything apart from a second tent, so I decided to go back to my first camp and split the loot and look for a second location. Got back in like 20mins and m4a1sd, DMR, food, medicine... gone,one of the other 2 was in the lobby by now so it was pretty obvious he found my tent a the very best moment he could wish, lucky bitch!!
