Allow corpse/incap player dragging

Recommended Posts

In vanilla ArmA2 you could drag incapacitated people out of the firing line. It would be nice to be able to do the same here but also with corpses.

Why corpses? Well, you shot a guy/your friend was shot. You want to loot the corpse not in the middle of the field but in the safety of the bush. So you can just pick up the guy and drag him to cover. Obviously slow and noisy. Maybe should even put some kind of temporary debuff where you're covered with blood and attract zombies from greater distance.

What if I just drag people to a zed infested zone and leave them there?

You mean a passed out guy who will come to his senses in about 15 seconds after passing out? You can't just walk up to anybody' date=' grab him and drag him around the island :)

Otherwise yeah, bait's a bait :)

Without reading the content and just reading the title, you might want some fly spray too to kill the flies

Hehe. Flies aren't that big of a problem. In fact, after 5 minutes of corpse being there I'd even add ravens circling around.

We've wanted at times to load the player's corpse up into the vehicle before driving off. You can put an unconscious person in, I don't see why you can't put a corpse in.

Good idea, I see no reason why that shouldnt be an option.

If they ever handle the logout to be safe issue I would shoot a guys kneecap and drag him towards zeds as bait.

Throwing a smoke grenade would probably be easier . . .

Easier? Yes. Less evil-genius-cackle-worthy? Also yes.
